Description: The Residential Coordinator is responsible for the oversight, supervision, and operational excellence of assigned residential programs. This role ensures high-quality service delivery, regulatory compliance, staff development, and person-centered support consistent with Support Solutions’ mission, values, and standards.

The Residential Coordinator directly oversees assigned residential programs and supervises program staff in accordance with agency policies and applicable laws.
Supervisory Responsibilities Include:
Hiring, training, scheduling, and directing staff
Conducting performance evaluations and providing ongoing coaching
Addressing concerns and administering disciplinary action as needed.
Promoting a positive, professional, and supportive work environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Program Operations
Implements and adheres to all Support Solutions policies and procedures.
Ensures effective day-to-day operation of assigned residential homes.
Ensures staff schedules are accurate, appropriately updated, and aligned with program needs.
Provides direct support in the absence of a Direct Support Professional.
Oversees petty cash and ensures accurate weekly submission of receipts.
Ensures full shift coverage and adjusts staffing as needed to meet individual and program needs.
Anticipates upcoming deadlines and ensures timely completion of all required tasks.
Provides on-call support Monday 8:00 AM–Friday 4:00 PM and participates in the rotating after-hours weekend on-call schedule.
Person-Centered Planning & Individual Support
Ensures staff follow each individual’s Person-Centered Plan (PCP) and Individual Support Plan (ISP).
Supports development and implementation of individualized program components.
Ensures meaningful community inclusion aligned with each individual’s strengths, needs, and preferences.
Attends pre-placement, post-placement, quarterly, semi-annual, special, and Individual Support Team meetings.
Provides PCP/ISP orientation and training for new and current employees as requested.
Quality Assurance, Compliance & Risk Management
Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) standards, MaineCare waiver requirements, licensing standards, and behavioral regulations.
Conducts scheduled and unscheduled home visits at least monthly and submits written reports to the Director of Care Management within 24 hours.
Assists programs in developing Plans of Correction and ensures timely resolution of deficiencies.
Maintains current knowledge of regulatory guidance, state-level interpretation, and emerging trends; communicates potential impacts to the supervisor.
Attends Review Team meetings related to safety plans and Behavior Management Plans.
Communication & Collaboration
Maintains effective, professional communication with team members, individuals served, guardians, case managers, and community providers.
Collaborates with state departments, partner agencies, and families to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Actively participates in meetings, trainings, seminars, and support groups relevant to program needs.
Contributes positively as a team member and supports a culture of respect, inclusion, and shared success.
Referral & Enrollment Support
Identifies, pursues, and follows up on referrals for residential services in collaboration with agency leadership.
General Responsibilities
Maintains ongoing communication with guardians, case managers, community partners, and other external stakeholders.
Stays informed of changes to MaineCare waiver rules, federal regulations, behavior regulations, and licensing requirements.
Attends PCP Forums and participates in state-level training opportunities.
Performs additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Required: High School Diploma and/or GED/HiSet
Required: Bachelor's Degree (B.A) or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required: Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs
Experience in home community care or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is essential.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and staff.
Authorized to Work in the USA

This position is paid an exempt, salary position. Working 8am-4pm Monday-Friday and rotating on-call.
