    Description: Support Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented, dependable, and compassionate Service Coordinator to support the quality, compliance, and coordination of services within our residential programs.

    This position plays an important role in helping ensure individuals receive person-centered support through accurate PCP/ISP development, strong documentation practices, timely Reportable Event follow-up, and ongoing support to Residential Coordinators and direct care teams.

    Implements and adheres to all policies and procedures of Support Solutions.

    The Service Coordinator supports the quality, organization, and compliance of residential services by helping ensure that individual support plans, documentation, meetings, and required follow-up are completed accurately and on time. This role works closely with Residential Coordinators, leadership, guardians, case managers, staff, and outside providers to support person-centered care and agency standards. Duties include:

    • Supporting the development, tracking, and oversight of PCPs and ISPs

    • Coordinating and participating in service planning meetings, including quarterly, semi-annual, special, and IST meetings

    • Writing and revising goals, narratives, MaineCare Home Support Service descriptions, and required service planning documents

    • Ensuring plans reflect person-centered practices and meet MaineCare and agency requirements

    • Tracking deadlines for PCPs, ISPs, annual documents, reviews, and required follow-up

    • Communicating with guardians, case managers, providers, managers, Residential Coordinators, and leadership

    • Reviewing Reportable Events for accuracy, completeness, timely submission, and required follow-up

    • Coaching Residential Coordinators and staff on documentation expectations, compliance, and service planning processes

    • Assisting with regulatory, licensing, HCBS, MaineCare waiver, and agency compliance requirements

    • Supporting staff and administrators with PCP/ISP orientation, reminders, training, and ongoing guidance

    • Participating in the monthly On-Call Supervisor rotation

    This position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, professional, and comfortable balancing communication, documentation, compliance, and team support within a residential human services setting.

    Qualified candidates should have:

    • High school diploma, GED, or HiSET required

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred or 1–2 years of related DSP/human services experience

    • Experience in home/community care or supporting individuals with developmental disabilities

    • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance

    • Strong communication and leadership skills

    • Ability to use Microsoft Office programs

    • Authorization to work in the United States

    • Ability to respond to urgent program needs when necessary

  • This is a full-time, exempt salaried position working primarily:

    Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

    This role also includes on-call responsibility for urgent matters outside of regular business hours from 4p-8a; and participation in a rotating weekend on-call schedule, typically every 3–4 weeks.
